"A major operator experienced two deep production liner failures in a row (14,000’ + or -). CSI was called to investigate the problem. Tests and analysis performed in the laboratory revealed that mixing order of liquid admixtures and sensitivity to shear were the cause of the failures. CSI worked with the operator and service company to correct the problem and the next four liners on the platform were successfully cemented with the modified slurry composition and mixing procedure. “
